In May 2024, I walked away from a 13-year career at a high-volume brokerage. The plan was a boutique brokerage of my own.
The plan grew. What I'm building now is a real estate company designed for how people actually decide. The brokerage is the lab. The products are what's next.
I'm a builder. I always have been. I'm just finally calling it what it is.
Before I was a builder, I was a connector. Thirty years of it. Fifteen years in Canadian banking, then fourteen years in Texas real estate, all of it spent doing the same work in different costumes: connecting people to the resources, partners, and decisions they actually needed. More than a thousand families served. Every connection taught me something about what the industry was getting wrong.
So I started building.
The System
Built around the decision, not the transaction.
Most real estate is sold the same way it was sold thirty years ago. Find a house. Make an offer. Close. The decision underneath, who you are, what you actually need, what you're carrying, gets skipped. So does the part that comes after.

That foundation made everything else possible.
What I actually believe
The industry is measuring the wrong things.
Volume. Speed. Closings. None of it captures what's actually happening for the person on the other side of the table. Real estate is the largest financial decision most families ever make, and it's almost always sold like a product instead of guided like a decision.
I think the next decade of real estate belongs to whoever rebuilds it around the person, not the home.
That's what I'm building. Yes, what I'm building uses AI. AI is the infrastructure, not the point. The point is intelligence designed around the person.
On reinvention
You can start over.
One thing I've learned, mostly the hard way, is that you can start over. At any age. From any place. As long as the falling doesn't define you, it's just the part that comes before the next chapter.
I bet on the version of me that hadn't shown up yet. She's the one writing this now.
If you're reading this in the middle of your own becoming, I want you to know it's allowed. The work of growing is what we're here to do.
The Why
Connector by nature.
Builder by decision.
I've also always been quietly curious about how people think and what makes them choose what they choose. That's the question underneath everything I build.
I have two chihuahua babies named Sid and Chloe, who are by my side 24/7 and have been with me on those late nights, quietly building while the world was asleep.
I'm Canadian by birth and Texan by choice. I'm a yogi who's been off her mat. The practice doesn't leave you. It just waits.
Community and giving back is the whole reason I'm doing this. Not as a footer. Not as a marketing layer. As the actual point. Education that's free first, paid second. A brokerage built on care, not commission. And animals, always. The ones who got the bad end of the stick through no fault of their own. When this company generates real surplus, that's where it goes.
All of it shows up in the work. None of it is decoration.
