in plain language.

I keep this simple. If you send me a message, I get your name, your email, and what you wrote, and I use it to reply. My site collects basic, anonymous usage data so I know what is working. I do not sell your information to anyone. That is the whole idea. The detail is below.

When you reach out. If you use a form on this site, the contact form or the note form on the About page, I collect what you choose to give me: your name, your email address, and your message. I use it to read and respond to you.

Automatically, as you browse. Like most websites, mine collects basic technical information when you visit: your browser and device type, your general location (city or region, from your IP address), the pages you view, and how you found me. This comes through privacy-respecting analytics, and I use it only to understand what is useful and to improve the site.

• To read your message and reply to you.
• To understand how people use the site so I can make it better.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

I do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and I do not sell it.

Separately from this website, I operate a private scheduling tool that I built for myself. I use it to plan and publish my own marketing content to social media accounts I personally own and administer, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile.

A few things matter here. I am the only person who signs into this tool. It stores only the secure access tokens for my own connected accounts, kept encrypted. It publishes only content I have created and approved, to accounts I own. It does not collect, read, analyze, or store information belonging to any other person, their accounts, or their content, and it is not offered to anyone else.

I do not sell your personal information. I share it only in these limited ways:

• Service providers who help me run the site and my work, such as my email delivery provider (Resend) and my hosting and analytics providers (Vercel and Google Analytics). They process information on my behalf and only for that purpose.
• The social media platforms themselves (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google), when my publishing tool posts my own content to my own accounts through their official interfaces.
• When the law requires it, such as a valid legal request, or to protect rights, safety, and property.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics through Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them will not break the site.

I keep the messages you send me for as long as I need them to stay in touch or follow up, and analytics data for a limited period in aggregate. If you would like me to delete a message you sent, just ask.

I take reasonable steps to protect the information I hold, including encryption for the access tokens in my publishing tool and trusted providers for hosting and email. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but I treat your information with care.

You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the General Data Protection Regulation. To make a request, email me at maureen@momentusrealestate.com or use the contact form. I will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

This site and my work are meant for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, let me know and I will delete it.

I am based in the United States, and my site and services are operated here. If you visit from outside the United States, your information is processed in the United States.

If I update this policy, I will change the date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes will be reflected here.
